Light and Dark

Research Question: How does the location of the plant effect its growth?
IV: The IV of the plants are their location
DV: The DV of the plant are how each one grew
Controlled Variables: The controlled variables were the amount of water given to each one
Discussion: We discussed that the plant that grew in the dark was the longest though the one with 24 hours light was the greenest.
Data: The plant that grew in the dark had a height of 11 cm. We concluded that it had reached out more for sunlight that’s why it’s color was white. Though the 24 hour light plant was the greenest and had a height of 3.5 cm. It was the greenest because it had the most sunlight so more chlorophyll could be created.
Conclusion: In conclusion, the plant that was in the dark grew the most because it was reaching out for light the most. That is also why the stem appeared white because no photosynthesis could happen without light.
